In Myingyan Township, the Basic Education General Strike Committee, along with various student organizations, local defense forces, and community members, held a strike demonstration today, August 25. Protesters carried banners with messages such as “We do not accept violence in prisons,” “No to totalitarian rule,” and “Build together with the people’s hand and rise against the military.” Members of the strike committee and student leaders addressed the crowd, voicing their opposition to the military junta and calling for a united stand against its oppressive regime.
