In Moekot, Mandalay Region, the junta launched airstrikes using cluster munitions in the western part of the city, resulting in the deaths of two civilians, including a 7-year-old child, and injuries to five others, as reported by the PSLF/TNLA News and Information Department.
On July 15, around 9 PM, the junta stationed at the strategic hills east of Moekot targeted the Pankamchery neighborhood in the western part of the city with cluster bombs, which exploded on civilian homes.
The explosions resulted in the death of a 7-year-old child and a 40-year-old individual named Ya Ei Myat Mon. Additionally, others injured include 18-year-old Lu Thay Thi Aye, 14-year-old Lu Su Myat San Dee, 84-year-old Daw Kin Sein, 44-year-old U Win Kyaw Thu Khin, and 40-year-old Daw Phyu Phyu Mon.
