Residents of Launglon Township, Tanintharyi Region, staged a night protest against military rule, according to reports.
The demonstration was led by the Democracy Movement Strike Committee (DDMSC) and took place in the early evening of February 10. Protesters marched to denounce the military regime and authoritarian rule while advocating for the establishment of people’s power.
As the resistance continues, civilians are facing increasing repression, including arbitrary arrests, torture, punishments without solid evidence, intimidation through armed force, and extrajudicial killings, highlighting ongoing human rights violations.
