A military airstrike on Yange Village in Thayetchaung Township, Tanintharyi Region, has killed two civilians, including a 7-year-old child, according to local sources. The attack occurred on the morning of April 19 at around 11:00 AM, despite no active conflict in the area at the time.
The strike, carried out without any reported ground fighting, also resulted in injuries to four civilians. One of the deceased was a man in his fifties.
In addition to the casualties, several houses in the village were damaged in the bombing. Local residents condemned the attack, emphasizing that it targeted a peaceful civilian area with no military presence.
