At least 10 civilians, including children, were killed when the Myanmar military carried out an aerial bombing on Tharsi and Minsu villages in Mingin Township, Sagaing Region, according to local residents.
The airstrike occurred at approximately 2:45 p.m. today, May 23, when military aircraft bombed the two villages. The attack is reported to have caused numerous civilian casualties.
Local sources stated that more than 10 people were killed and many others injured, some critically. The number of fatalities may rise due to the severity of the injuries sustained during the bombing.
