In Kalawday village, Kayin State, seven civilians, including two children, were reportedly killed when junta forces fired heavy artillery into the village. Around 7:20 PM on March 5, troops from the military junta launched an attack on Kalawday village in the Mutraw District of Kayin State. According to the Kayin National Union (KNU), the attack resulted in the deaths of seven civilians. The casualties included elderly individuals and women, along with the two children. Additionally, four other civilians sustained injuries during the assault, as reported by the KNU.
