An explosion occurred at Gate 1 of the Thai-Myanmar border in the Myawaddy area around 10:30 PM today, resulting in the gate catching fire. Initial reports indicate that two police officers were injured and transported via ambulance following the blast, which was heard throughout the Myawaddy and Mae Sot areas. A local resident from Mae Sot remarked, “Around 11 o’clock, we heard a loud rumbling sound. The ground shook quite significantly.”
