A major protest march took place today along the Monywa-Amyaint Road, with demonstrators rallying against the military dictatorship. Led by the main strike committee, the march marked the one-year anniversary of the death of two fallen comrades in the resistance against the military. Citizens, the strike committee, and the People’s Defense Forces (PDF) gathered at the martyrs’ memorial to commemorate the event and continue their anti-junta resistance.
