Attack on Futt Line Village in Wetlet Township Leaves Four Houses Destroyed, One Civilian Killed

In Wetlet Township, Sagaing Region, the military launched an artillery attack on Futt Line village at 6:45 PM on September 9, resulting in the destruction of four homes and the death of one civilian, according to local sources and reports from Shwebo Township’s Information Committee. The attack left significant damage in the village.

The military convoy, consisting of approximately 40 troops, had reportedly moved from Chaung Sone village in Shwebo Township and arrived at Yinmakone village in Wetlet Township around 5:45 PM. Shortly after their arrival, they opened fire on Futt Line village using 60mm artillery shells, leading to the destruction of four homes and the injury of one civilian who was hit by shrapnel.
