In Mandalay, the military’s blood-drinking unit has reportedly executed four youths captured during military operations in the palace area. The bodies of these individuals were disposed of, with their necks severed and displayed with blood-drinking insignias, according to military sources and local reports.
On the morning of September 11, the military’s blood-drinking unit found the remains of three victims near the White Bridge in the waterway, while one was discovered along the Mandalay-Sagaing road. The deceased were transported to Mandalay General Hospital by humanitarian organizations.
The recently slain youths were confirmed to be individuals detained by the military during operations in the palace area, but their identities remain unknown as per military sources.
In Mandalay, the blood-drinking unit had also executed a youth on the morning of July 8, near Basic Education High School No. 8 on 86th Street between 40 and 41. Additionally, on April 24, NLD party member U Khin Maung Thein was shot dead, and another man was reported to have been killed under the pretext of working with the PDF at a low-value apartment between 19th and 22nd Streets.
