Local residents report that the military junta is conducting airstrikes in the eastern part of Moekok Township, Mandalay Region. “Since this morning, planes have been flying overhead, and airstrikes are happening. We’ve heard reports that they have captured the eastern military camp and released prisoners. There are also intense battles reported in the Wayaung area,” a local resident stated.
Additionally, in northern Shan State, residents of Lashio city reported that the military junta is conducting bombings with fighter jets, and fighting has intensified. Starting from 4:50 AM today, the military has been carrying out bombing attacks with fighter planes. Intense battles have been reported at locations including Hill 507, Kalay 68, and around Lashio city, specifically in the Mehan mountainous region.
