Heavy fighting is ongoing at the 206th Military Artillery Base and the 902nd Military Camp in Taungkham village, located in Naungcho Township, Shan State, according to the TNLA. The clashes intensified today, with reports indicating that they began at around 9:20 a.m. at the 206th artillery base and continued at 4:40 p.m. at the 902nd military camp.
The military also launched airstrikes on Naungcho town, dropping two bombs using a jet fighter. In addition, a Y-12 aircraft reportedly dropped 60 bombs in seven strikes targeting the 354th military camp in Makyayyay village and the 902nd camp in Taungkham.
Furthermore, a Y-8 transport aircraft reportedly delivered 45 rounds of ammunition in eight trips to resupply the 902nd military camp in Taungkham.
Reports also suggest that the military has been reinforcing its forces in the Naungcho Township area from Kyaukku in Yatsauk Township, Shan State, as clashes continue between the military and resistance forces.
