The Myanmar military launched an assault on Naukone Village in Pakokku Township, Magway Region, killing three women and burning their bodies, according to Yan Naung, a representative of the Pakokku People’s Defense Force (PDF).
The attack occurred early in the morning on November 14, around 5:00 a.m., as military troops entered Naukone Village amidst ongoing operations in Pakokku Township. Reports indicate that three women from the village were detained and subsequently killed. Their remains were allegedly burned to destroy evidence.
Beginning at approximately 9:00 a.m. on the same day, military personnel set fire to civilian homes within the village, resulting in the destruction of 187 houses. The incident underscores the intensifying violence and the impact on civilian populations in the region.
