On November 16, at around 3:00 a.m., junta forces launched artillery strikes from the Training School for Advanced Infantry (LID-13) on Twin Nge village, initiating ground operations. Resistance forces engaged in skirmishes following the offensive. At approximately 8:00 a.m. the same day, junta jets bombed Ye Nya U village and Kyaung Phyu village, dropping one bomb on the former and two on the latter. A six-year-old child and a woman from Ye Nya U were critically injured by the explosions and succumbed to their injuries while being transported to the hospital.
