Myanmar Military Shelling Kills Two and Injures Four in Shin Mokhti Village

Two civilians were killed and four others critically injured when the Myanmar military shelled Shin Mokhti Village in Dawei Township, Tanintharyi Region, according to local sources.

The incident occurred around 8 p.m. on November 16, following an attack by resistance forces on the Shwe Gu Gate military outpost in Dawei Township. After the clash, junta troops reportedly fired heavy artillery into nearby villages.

One of the shells struck Shin Mokhti Village, killing 19-year-old Ma Chit Moe Shwe and another woman. Four others sustained severe injuries in the attack.
