A 19-year-old man included in the military conscription list has taken his own life by hanging in Shwe Nyaung, Taunggyi Township, Shan State, according to a family friend close to the deceased’s parents.
The incident occurred on the morning of February 4, near a tamarind tree close to the Silver Barrel Factory in Shwe Nyaung. The young man had been summoned for Batch 10 of the military training program and was scheduled to report for training on February 15.
