Myanmar’s military conducted airstrikes on villages near the border of Mying and Pauk townships in Magway Region early this morning, resulting in the deaths of 12 civilians and injuring many others, according to a representative from the Central Myanmar Resistance Coalition.
The air raids took place between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m., with Y-12 aircraft carrying out single strikes near Seik Chay village and Gyot Kone village, two strikes on Bawng Bin village, and one strike on the Naung Kone monastery. Additionally, a jet fighter launched an attack near Su Win village, and another Y-12 aircraft dropped bombs on a field near Taw village.
In Pauk Township, a jet fighter bombed an area near Let Pan Toe village and another near Thayet Kan village. In total, nine airstrikes were carried out across Mying and Pauk townships, leaving 12 civilians dead and many others wounded.
