This afternoon in Yangon, student protesters marched against the military dictatorship, chanting, “We will not kneel under the junta, we are not afraid to die.” The protest, led by students from Thaketa Township High School No. 3, also saw participation from allied student unions including those from RGY, Thaketa High Schools No. 1 and No. 6, Yangon University of Education, Bago’s Pangok Monastery School, Yankin High School No. 2, and other student unions from Kyimyindaing, Sanchaung, Kyauktada, and Dagon Townships. The demonstrators unified to demand an end to the military regime.
