In Khinu Township’s Tharyetkone Village, Sagaing Region, the military and Pyusawhti forces burned 75 homes on May 29, while also looting displaced villagers along the roads, according to local reports. The military convoy, reinforced by 50 troops from Yea Oo, raided the village at 8:30 a.m., burning houses and searching for displaced people hiding in a school. They also called fleeing villagers by phone, tracked them with drones, and looted their belongings, including gold, silver, jewelry, and a car. Meanwhile, in Nyaungkaya Village, Myaung Township, the military targeted and burned 22 homes on May 19, deliberately selecting large, well-built houses for destruction.
