Local sources report that U Kyaw Naing Win, a teacher from Wundwin City in Mandalay Region, was executed by the military during a raid in the area. On September 23, at around 6 PM, U Kyaw Naing Win was taken by the junta forces and police from his village, No. (1) Nyangpin. When his wife inquired at the police station on September 27, she was told, “He will be released tomorrow, but stay strong.” On September 28, she received a phone call saying, “Prepare the body for collection,” according to local residents.
