Military Airstrike in Taw Ma Village Results in Deaths of Seven Civilians, Including Two Young Children

In the Taw Ma village of Saw Township, Magway Region, the military carried out an airstrike without any ongoing conflict, resulting in the deaths of seven civilians, including two children aged eight months and five years. Eleven houses were also destroyed, according to Ko Ba Kaung from the Yaw Alintan group.

On May 14, around 3 PM, a fighter jet from the military’s base in the nearby town of Tan Taw Oo attacked Taw Ma village, setting two houses ablaze and damaging nine others. This airstrike caused the deaths of seven civilians, including the two young children, and left nine others severely injured.
