In Mandalay Region, three villagers from Nabutaung Village in Nawhtohgyi Township were shot dead by the military, according to local residents. On June 21, it was reported that the armed forces entered Nabutaung Village and set fire to residential homes, subsequently killing three villagers.
The victims, who were shot dead by the military, were identified as Ko Zaw Aung, Ko Aung Naing Oo, and Ko Soe Poo. “The soldiers shot and killed Ko Zaw Aung, Ko Aung Naing Oo, and Ko Soe Poo. The soldiers are continuing to set fire to villages,” stated a local resident.
