NUG Government Promises Increased Assistance: U Duwa Lashi and U.S. Officials Discuss Support for Revolutionary Forces

It has been reported that Tom Sullivan, a senior advisor from the U.S. State Department, met with U Duwa Lashi, the interim president of the National Unity Government (NUG), and representatives from revolutionary forces to discuss enhancing support.

Attendees included senior members from the NUG, interim president U Duwa Lashi, as well as leaders from Myanmar’s democratic movement and revolutionary organizations, who engaged in discussions with Sullivan and USAID Assistant Administrator Schiffer.

During the meeting, U Duwa Lashi expressed gratitude to the United States for its commitment to improving humanitarian assistance for the people and increasing direct support to those in need.
