According to a statement from the Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA), the military junta conducted two airstrikes on Naungcho City in northern Shan State, resulting in the deaths of three civilians, including two children.

On October 19, around 5:15 AM, the military launched airstrikes with jets, targeting residential areas in the southern district of Naungcho. As a result, three civilians were killed, including two children, and three others sustained severe injuries. Seventeen houses were also reported damaged due to the bombings.

The military’s airstrike reportedly struck the home of a local resident named U Kya, resulting in the deaths of U Kya and his two daughters, Ma Kyaung Su Wei and Ma Khin Nadi Kyaung. Shortly after, at around 5:25 AM, another airstrike hit the house of U Pya, injuring him and his wife, Ma Nge Chaw, among others.

Earlier the previous night, airstrikes by the military also resulted in injuries to four local residents in Naungcho. The TNLA stated that after losing control of all northern Shan cities, the military junta has been deliberately targeting civilian homes with daily airstrikes, thereby committing war crimes.
