The military has conducted further airstrikes on Naungcho, Shan State, today, injuring three civilians and destroying ten homes, according to the TNLA.
At approximately 2:05 PM on October 19, the military launched attacks using two fighter jets, dropping a 500-pound bomb and two 300-pound bombs on the Pahat neighborhood of Naungcho.
Reports indicate that during the military’s aerial bombardment, three civilians sustained injuries, and ten homes were destroyed.
Earlier today, in the morning, the military’s airstrike resulted in the deaths of a father and son, along with an 8-year-old child, while three others were injured.
The Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) has stated that the military captured the town of Thipaw on October 12 and has been conducting daily airstrikes since then, even though fighting has temporarily ceased in Naungcho, Kyaikmae, Thipaw, Mokut, and Moemait towns, which were previously taken by PSLF/TNLA.
