Myanmar Nationals in Germany Protest Outside Chinese Embassy in Munich

Myanmar nationals residing in Germany gathered outside the Chinese Embassy in Munich to protest China’s stance on certain issues. The protest, held for the second time, was marked by a display of solidarity with the sentiment expressed in the banner: “China, du bist wie ein Pokerspieler bei einer Totenwache und denkst nur an deinen Erfolg, nicht an unsere Trauer,” which translates to “China, you are like a poker player at a wake, thinking only of your success, not our sorrow.” The demonstrators expressed their discontent with China’s position on matters concerning Myanmar.
