Around 7:30 AM, the military junta began burning down homes in Zayakone village, located in the Myawaddy Township of Sagaing Region. Reports indicate that approximately 100 homes were destroyed as the military launched an attack on civilian properties. After devastating Zayakone, the junta proceeded to Makyan village, where they continued their assault. Currently, it is reported that the military has entered the nearby Tamasekan village, which is only about 200 feet from Makyan, preventing local residents from extinguishing the fires and leading to fears of significant property loss.
