Reports indicate that on June 5, the military executed a local farmer, Ko Chit Lin, in Dawngchan village of Kaney Township, Sagaing Region. According to local sources, the 33-year-old farmer was captured by military troops at around 4 PM while working in his field. Following his capture, he was interrogated and brutally killed in a plot near the Natmyaw village road, with his family discovering his body the next day. A local resident stated, “The body confirmed to be Ko Chit Lin was found near a large store where soldiers looted goods worth about 200,000 kyats.” Additionally, on May 18, the military executed 38-year-old Ko Zaw Lin from Kaintan village and 39-year-old Ko Aung Than Maw from Ahtakain village on May 25, according to reports from the Kaney Township Youth Resistance Strike Force.
