It has been reported that a screening of the short film ‘Untasted Rain,’ directed by Ko Paw, was held at The Comedy Store on Oxendon Street, London, to support the fundraising event for the Spring Revolution. Representatives from the National Unity Government, including U Maung Maung Aung and Dr. Thet Ko Ko, attended the screening and expressed their gratitude. Additionally, families from the UK brought traditional Myanmar dishes such as Biryani, Samosa, Shan Noodles, Kyauk Kyaw, and Tea Leaf Salad to share with attendees. After the film, the trailer for Ko Paw’s self-written documentary was also screened, and although 400 tickets were initially planned for sale, the organizers had to add extra seats due to the overwhelming support from the audience. The short film ‘Untasted Rain’ is set to be screened in various locations, including Sydney, Australia, Nagoya and Tokyo in Japan, Incheon in South Korea, Einsiedeln in Switzerland, and New York and San Francisco in the USA, marking its premiere in London today.
