In the Nyang U District of Mandalay Region, it has been reported that the military executed three male members of the NLD (National League for Democracy) party and killed one female member. Eyewitnesses and family members have stated that on the night of October 2, around midnight, soldiers and Pyu Saw Htee members entered Sintku village under the pretext of a registration check and abducted U Win Aung Moe (55), U Nyaing Chan Min (45), and Ma Thaw Mi Mi Win (32). It is reported that their bodies were later decapitated, and Ma Thaw Mi was brutally killed. The bodies were then disposed of in front of the Sintku township hospital.

According to a local resident, ‘Last night, the military and the Pyu Saw Htee entered Sintku village, claiming to check the registration. They abducted five people there, including one woman. In the morning, we found the bodies of three men and one woman. The woman had been brutally assaulted, and one person is still missing. To this day, the bodies have not been returned.’

Additionally, in the Nyang U District of Mandalay Region, U Kyaw Win (68), an NLD party member from Si village, was captured by two military vehicles around 2 AM today, October 3. U Kyaw Win and his daughter were abducted, and he was reportedly stabbed to death by the military. However, his daughter managed to escape.

Another local stated, ‘Around 2 AM today, two military trucks arrived and forcibly entered U Kyaw Win’s house, holding his daughter and him at gunpoint. They took him to a nearby creek and stabbed him multiple times with a knife. In the morning, when we went to look, the body was no longer there; it was impossible to see anything. That man has been unwell for a while, and he has long distanced himself from the party due to his poor health. I still cannot understand why they killed him like that. Families are frightened, but they left the daughter unharmed.’
