It has been reported that a protest movement led by the Western Bank of Chindwin River took place today, October 9, featuring a torch rally aimed at resistance. A spokesperson from the protest committee stated, ‘Myanmar has been under oppression for nearly two years now. Therefore, in an effort to break free from this regime, we organized a protest, symbolizing the struggle for freedom with a representation of the Myanmar flag.’
