In front of the Chinese embassy in Japan, Myanmar nationals, along with Japanese supporters of Myanmar’s cause, have expressed their desire to halt any support provided to the Myanmar military. This was reported following the demonstration.
Additionally, a letter was sent to the Chinese Communist government to highlight the wishes of the Myanmar people. The letter called on the Chinese government not to provide political support that favors the violent military junta in Myanmar and to cease any interference in Myanmar’s affairs. It urged for pressure to be applied against armed ethnic groups and revolutionary forces and requested adherence to the decisions made by the United Nations Security Council while respecting the will of the Myanmar people.
