In Moekoke town, Mandalay Region, an airstrike by the junta’s forces targeted the Atthale U and Moe U Lwin wards, resulting in the deaths of 9 civilians, including a child, and leaving 13 others injured, according to the TNLA. The attack took place on November 11, 2024, in the evening.
On the night of November 11, military aircraft, including fighter jets, dropped five bombs on the eastern Atthale U ward and the western Moe U Lwin area, causing widespread destruction. Reports indicate that the airstrike killed 4 civilians from the eastern part of Moekoke town and 5 others from the western part, along with one child. A total of 13 civilians were injured in the attack, and at least 10 homes were destroyed.
