The Tragic Death of 11-Year-Old Ma Thin Thin Moe in Paauk Township

In Paauk Township, the 11-year-old daughter of Daw Aye Aye Win, Ma Thin Thin Moe, was reportedly killed by the military, and her body was found abandoned on the road. Locals stated that the military council forces executed Daw Aye Aye Win, aged 42, and also stabbed her 3-year-old daughter, Ma Yati Moe, with a knife.

On the night of March 5, military council troops aggressively shelled the village of Innge Daung, forcing their way in. Daw Aye Aye Win was captured while attempting to escape with her daughters. Reports indicate that she was executed on the street in front of her house, and her youngest daughter, Ma Yati Moe, was also stabbed. Furthermore, the military took her 11-year-old daughter, Ma Thin Thin Moe, away.

The violent military council troops reportedly captured 9 children, 12 women, and 8 men from the village as human shields. Locals confirmed that Ma Thin Thin Moe’s body was found, but the whereabouts of the remaining 29 villagers are still unknown.
