4-Year-Old Child Killed in Artillery Attack in Kinsae Village, Northern U

Today, around the afternoon of August 28, an artillery shell struck Kinsae Village in Northern U, resulting in the death of a 4-year-old child among five individuals who sustained severe injuries. According to rescue workers, the child suffered serious injuries to the head, body, and limbs and died before reaching the hospital.

Rescue workers described the tragic scene, stating, “It was on the road. The child was adorable. While artillery was firing, some fragments fell when stepping outside, causing injuries.”

Reports indicate that at least five artillery shells hit Kinsae Village around 4:30 PM, leading to three fatalities and several individuals still in critical condition in the hospital. Locals stated that the artillery fire originated from the Northern U 377 Battalion.
