Myanmar Military Sets Fire to Civilians’ Homes in Shainmaka Village During Nighttime Raid

In Shainmaka village, located in the Wetlet Township of Sagaing Region, the military has been reported to be setting fire to civilian homes during the night, according to local news sources and the regional defense team, as stated by Colonel Myo Aung. Starting from 11:15 PM on November 11, the violent military forces have been storming into Shainmaka village and setting fires, which are still burning as of the latest reports.

The soldiers are currently burning a location west of the Dhamma Hall in Shainmaka village. They started around 11:15 PM and the fires are still ongoing. It is unclear if there have been any casualties in the village due to the ongoing situation, Colonel Myo Aung reported.

According to a spokesperson from the Wetlet Informational Network, The soldiers are using heavy weapons against the Shainmaka police station, and they are setting fire to the nearby civilian homes. Their actions have caused damage to the homes near the station.
