Military Torches 52 Houses in Bahin Village, Myaing Township, Destroying Vehicles and Motorcycles

The military set fire to 52 houses in Bahin Village, Myaing Township, Magway Region, according to the Myaing Spring Revolution Group. On the morning of November 21, soldiers and police from Bahin Police Station burned the station before proceeding to set fire to the village, destroying houses, motorcycles, and cars owned by civilians. The officers then abandoned the station in the afternoon.

“There was no battle; the military torched 52 houses and the Bahin police station, then left around 8 AM today,” a member of the Myaing Spring Revolution Group said. The military had started burning the police station in the morning before turning on civilian homes later that day, according to reports.
