In Hpa-Kant Township, Shan State, the military reportedly bombed the Western Kayin village group with 500-pound bombs, according to a spokesperson from the Hpa-Kant PDF. The attack occurred around 11:20 PM on February 10, when a fighter jet from the Naypyidaw Air Force Base targeted the vicinity of the Western Kayin village group.
The KNU has also reported that the bombing affected the Christ Church and several homes in the area. The extent of the damage caused by the aerial assault is still being assessed.
