In the Dipeyin Township of Sagaing Region, the local school in Makyei village was bombed by the military, resulting in the deaths of six civilians, including a nine-year-old child. Approximately thirty others sustained injuries, raising concerns for their lives, as reported by Tu Khant Zaw (Amay Thar), a spokesperson for the People’s Defense Comrades.
On May 11, around 2 PM, the military attacked the Makyei village school without any ongoing battle, using a YAK-130 jet fighter to drop three 500-pound bombs on the area.
