On the third day of the 1027 military operation (Part 2), the TNLA captured the Mokok Police Station and a military base in Ommakhar Village, with ongoing fierce battles in five townships, according to a statement from the TNLA’s News and Information Department. On June 27, around 8:30 AM, the TNLA launched an attack on the military camps of the 88th Light Infantry Division and 148th Infantry Battalion stationed in Ayesetti in Mokok Township, capturing the Mokok Police Station as well.

At around 5:40 AM today, clashes occurred between TNLA and MDY-PDF combined forces and the military at several locations, including the Sakha (1), Khamar (501), and (502) battalions, as well as in Sipin and around the Buddhist monastery in Naungpyit. Additionally, at approximately 6:06 AM, the TNLA attacked the Khamar-114 military camp in Naungcho, and by around 10 AM, they successfully captured a military base of the terrorist junta stationed in Ommakhar Village.

During the TNLA’s attack on the Naungcho Police Station, a significant amount of medicine (Yama tablets) was seized. In Naungcho Township, at around 11:14 AM, the TNLA attacked the 114th battalion camp of the military using a Y-12 aircraft and subsequently dropped bombs with a jet fighter at around 11:30 AM. The TNLA and MDY-PDF combined forces also attacked the military’s 606th battalion around 11 AM, after which the military retaliated by launching five airstrikes with a Y-12 aircraft and eighteen airstrikes with jet fighters.

At around 12:40 PM, TNLA forces engaged with junta troops near Leikgyi Village in Momit Township, while the previous day, in Kyaukme Township, the TNLA seized a range of military equipment and weapons from junta troops, including 17 soldiers who had defected, two 60mm mortars, six rifles, two RPG-7s, one sniper rifle, five pistols, five mines, and various military equipment and munitions, totaling 59 different types of weapons and a significant amount of ammunition.
