Seventy junta soldiers were killed, and over ninety weapons were seized during battles in Kyaukme Township, Shan State, and Mogok Township, Mandalay Region, according to the TNLA.
From July 20 to 22, the combined forces of the Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) and the Kyaukme District People’s Defense Force (PDF) attacked and captured the junta’s 202nd and 203rd Infantry Battalions stationed at Namsilin Monastery and Asia World Toll Gate in Kyaukme. Fifty-four soldiers were killed, and thirty soldiers were captured alive, according to reports.
Additionally, TNLA forces seized weapons from the junta, including 26 MA1 rifles, 16 MA3 rifles, 4 MA4 rifles, 12 MA11 rifles, 10 MA2 rifles, one grenade launcher, two 45mm mortars, and one 120mm mortar, along with over eighty military supplies.
