TNLA Launches Attack on Military Strategic Hill in Mongmit as Intense Fighting Continues, Y-12 Aircraft Drops Ammunition in Kyaukme Township

The Ta’ang National Liberation Army (TNLA) is conducting an offensive operation against a military strategic hill in Mongmit, Shan State, resulting in intense fighting. Meanwhile, in Kyaukme Township, the military is dropping ammunition via Y-12 aircraft, according to TNLA sources. Today, July 30, at around 6:30 a.m., TNLA forces continued their assault on the Mongmit Strategic Hill, engaging in clashes with the military’s 21st Division and the 348th Infantry Battalion, which oversees the operation.

Similarly, fierce fighting is reported between TNLA and the military’s 21st Division and 276th Infantry Battalion in Doepin Village, Mongmit Township. The military also dropped 14 bombs on the Mongmit Strategic Hill using Y-12 aircraft while delivering ammunition to its bases in Kyaukme Township using the same aircraft.
