In Papun (Mutraw) District of Karen State, a total of 144 battles occurred during the month of September, leading to the deaths of 47 soldiers from the regime, including one battalion commander and two company commanders, as reported by the Mutraw District authorities. From September 1 to 30, the Karen National Liberation Army (KNLA) Brigade 5 and allied forces engaged in combat against the aggressive military regime, resulting in significant losses for the regime.
During these battles, the regime suffered 47 fatalities and 41 injuries, with casualties including a battalion commander, two company commanders, and one deputy company commander among the dead, and one battalion commander among the injured.
Additionally, during September, the aggressive military regime fired 99 heavy weapons into civilian areas and workplaces within the Papun (Mutraw) District, resulting in the death of one innocent civilian and injuries to five others.
