In Min Done Township, Magway Region, military forces have maintained an aggressive operation for nearly a month, resulting in critical food shortages for over a thousand civilians displaced from six villages. Additionally, Ywar Thit Village was completely destroyed in a fire reportedly set by the military, according to an official from Infantry Battalion No. 4, Thayet District.
Since November 11, soldiers from the junta have been conducting military offensives against villages starting from the Five Mile Checkpoint in Min Done Township. On December 6, they raided Ywar Thit Village, torching over 100 homes and leaving the entire village in ashes.
As of now, the military has stationed its troops at a monastery in Myauk Pyin Village. Over 2,000 residents from nearby villages, including Jo Wa, Myauk Pyin, Kan Ma Naing, Ywar Thit, Nge Pyin, and Puzut Tone, have fled their homes, seeking refuge to escape the violence.
