The military carried out airstrikes and artillery shelling on villages in Taungtha, Winye, and Myu townships without any ongoing clashes, injuring 14 civilians and destroying several homes.
According to a representative from the Taungtha People’s Movement Committee, the military launched an airstrike on Kyamadtwin Village in Taungtha Township at around 10:45 p.m. on February 19. The attack left seven civilians seriously injured and resulted in the death of one cow.
