September 10, 2022

In the town of Moebye, located near the Shan-Karenni border, clashes occurred on September 8 and 9. During these two days of continuous fighting, the military shelled villages and neighborhoods, resulting in the death of a young child and the destruction of homes.

The military, suffering heavy losses during the battle, launched artillery strikes into residential areas and conducted airstrikes. These attacks led to the death of an innocent child, with three others injured, and extensive damage to homes, though the exact number remains unconfirmed.

On September 8, fighting broke out between the military and the Karenni coalition forces when the army advanced from Warisu Phlo village toward Moebye. The clashes resulted in over 30 military casualties, and the Karenni forces seized a significant amount of ammunition.
