In Hkuung Township, Shwebo District, Sagaing Region, the Township People’s Administration Committee held a ceremony on July 19 to commemorate the 77th anniversary of Martyrs’ Day.
During the ceremony, representatives from the National Unity Government (NUG) and various ministries paid tribute with floral arrangements according to their departments. The leaders of the Township People’s Administration Committee, along with officials responsible for electricity and energy, also delivered speeches honoring Martyrs’ Day. At 10:37, tributes were paid to General Aung San and other prominent martyrs through the laying of flowers, the firing of salute shots, and the singing of commemorative songs dedicated to Martyrs’ Day.
