a public meeting was held in Washington, D.C., at the Margaret Senior Center, where ministers from the National Unity Government (NUG) met with the public. The discussions focused on the ongoing activities related to the anti-regime movement led by Min Aung Hlaing and future action plans.
During the meeting, NUG ministers presented updates on their current activities and international engagements concerning the ongoing struggle against the military junta. There were also opportunities for mutual discussions between the ministers and the attendees.
The event was attended by approximately 200 members of the Burmese community in the D.C. area, including Human Rights Minister U Aung Myo Min, Minister of Communications U Htin Lin Aung, Deputy Foreign Minister U Moe Zaw Oo, and Myanmar’s ASEAN envoy U Bo Hla Tint.
