In Leikkye Village, Thabeikkyin Township, Mandalay Region, an airstrike carried out by the military has resulted in the deaths of 13 people, including children, according to local residents.
The attack took place in the morning of April 18, when the military launched bombs from an aircraft on the village. During the airstrike, 13 civilians were killed, and several others were injured. Additionally, numerous homes were damaged or destroyed by the bombings.
A local resident shared, “The military bombed Leikkye Village today, and we initially heard that 13 people died, including children. There are also many people injured.”
