Military Junta Attacks Min Village in Kawkareik Township with Eight Heavy Weapons, Injuring One Civilian and Destroying Three Homes

A military junta attack on Min Village in Kawkareik Township, Karen State, has resulted in injuries to one civilian and the destruction of three homes, according to a spokesperson from the local armed group, Gahlu. The attack occurred on September 29 around 9:20 PM, with the military firing five 105 mm artillery shells and three 40 mm grenades from a military vessel stationed in the area.

The bombardment struck both the southern and northern parts of Min Village, causing damage and injuries. “The current random shelling by the military junta has caused significant losses in Min Village. One civilian has been injured, and three homes have been destroyed,” the Gahlu spokesperson reported.
